Terms of Service

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Please read the “Disputes and arbitration” section. It says that most disputes go to private, individual arbitration instead of a court or jury, and that class actions are not allowed, as far as the law permits.

1. Who we are

These Terms are an agreement between you and BOXMILE LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, 30 North Gould Street, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801 (“Boxmile”, “we”, “us”).

“You” means the business that uses Boxmile, and the person who accepts these Terms for it. If you accept for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it. You must be at least 18 years old.

You accept these Terms by checking the box when you apply for an account, accept an invitation, or when we ask you to accept an updated version. We save which version you accepted and when.

These Terms also cover your use of the boxmile.com website. If you only visit the website, the parts of these Terms that fit a visit apply to you.

2. What Boxmile does

Boxmile is shipping software for businesses. It helps you import orders, compare rates, buy and print shipping labels, track parcels, handle returns, and manage products, stock, scanning and printing.

Boxmile is software, not a carrier. The carrier you choose moves your parcel, and that carrier’s own terms apply to the shipment. Boxmile is for businesses in the United States. International shipping is not available yet.

Not every feature or connection is available for every account. Check that a feature is available to you before you rely on it for your operations.

3. Getting an account

To use Boxmile you apply for an account or follow an invitation link from our staff. We review each application. We may ask for more information, and we may decline an application. Your account starts when we approve it and set up your prices.

If you upload rate cards or invoices with your application, we use them only to prepare a price offer for you. If we decline your application, we delete those files 90 days after we decline it.

Keep your account details correct and your password private. Give each staff member their own login, and give them only the access they need. You are responsible for what people do with the logins you give them. Tell us right away at info@boxmile.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.

4. Prices and what you pay

The software itself has no subscription fee. You pay for the labels and services you buy, at the prices shown in your account. Our staff set your prices when your account is approved, and the price is shown before you buy each label.

The price you see when you buy is the price you pay for that label, except for carrier adjustments (section 6).

Rates and delivery times shown on boxmile.com are examples for information only. Your prices are the ones shown in your account.

If we ever offer a paid feature, we will show its price and ask you to choose it first. We will never start a subscription without your clear choice.

5. Your balance and top-ups

You pay for labels from a prepaid balance in your account.

Your balance does not expire. Your balance can’t go below zero. If something you owe is more than your balance, the difference is a debt you need to pay.

Card disputes (chargebacks). If you dispute a card payment with your bank and the bank decides for you, we take back the payment amount (including the card fee) and the card processor’s dispute fee from your balance. If your balance doesn’t cover it, you owe the difference. If the bank decides for us, you pay nothing extra.

Closing your account with money left. When you close your account, we refund your remaining balance, minus anything you owe, within 30 days. We refund to your original payment method where possible.

Referral rewards are paid as balance credit, not cash, under the referral program terms shown in your account.

6. Carrier adjustments

A carrier can charge more after it measures your parcel, for example for a different weight, size, address or service. When that happens, we charge the extra amount to your balance and show it in your account with the reason.

If you think an adjustment is wrong, contact us. We review it with the carrier and hold the disputed amount while we do. If the carrier reverses it, we credit it back.

If a carrier charges us less than the price you paid, your price stays the same.

7. Cancelling labels (voids) and refunds

You can ask to cancel an unused label. The carrier decides whether it can be refunded and how long that takes. Asking for a cancellation is not the same as an approved refund, so check the label’s status.

Void fee. For an approved refund of a USPS label, we keep a void fee of 10% of the label price. The fee is shown before you confirm the request. There is no void fee for other carriers, and no fee if the refund is denied. All void and refund fees together, ours and the carrier’s, will never be more than 15% of the refundable amount.

Do not use a label after you have asked to cancel it.

Creating a return label does not refund your customer for the goods. For a lost, damaged or late parcel, use the carrier’s or insurer’s claim process. We will help where we can at info@boxmile.com.

8. Your responsibilities when you ship

You are responsible for:

Rate estimates, delivery estimates, address suggestions, automation rules and stock counts are there to help you. They don’t replace your own checks. A printed label doesn’t mean the carrier has accepted the parcel. Boxmile does not guarantee delivery dates, transit times, insurance payouts or the result of a carrier claim. Any carrier guarantee comes from that carrier.

Use labels only for the parcel they were bought for. Don’t copy, change or resell labels.

9. Connected stores, apps and API keys

You can connect stores, marketplaces and other apps. Connect only accounts you are allowed to manage. When you connect one, you let Boxmile read and send the information needed for the features you turn on, such as importing orders and sending tracking numbers back.

You can disconnect at any time. Disconnecting stops syncing, and 48 hours later we delete the orders imported from that store, and their labels can no longer be reprinted. If you reconnect within 48 hours, nothing is deleted. We keep only what the law or an open transaction requires: charges and refunds, shipments with customs or export filings, and any order with a label, void, refund or claim still in progress until it finishes. Labels already bought are not cancelled. Export any orders you need before you disconnect.

Other companies can change or stop their services. If a sync fails or is delayed, check your orders and stock. We aren’t responsible for another company’s outages, changes or mistakes, but we remain responsible for our own. Links to other companies’ websites and services are covered by those companies’ own terms.

If you create API keys, keep them secret. Anyone with your key can act for your account. Revoke a key in Settings if it may be exposed. Our public API follows the published documentation.

You are responsible for your own computers, scanners, printers and network.

10. Your data

Your data stays yours. That includes your orders, customer details, products and images. You let us host, process, copy, send and display it to run, secure, maintain and improve Boxmile, to meet legal duties, and for the other uses described in our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, including your choices.

You must have the right to upload the data you put into Boxmile. Give your own customers and staff any privacy notices the law requires.

Keep your own copies of records you need for your business. You can export your data from Boxmile.

Don’t send passwords, card numbers or sensitive documents through the rate inquiry form on boxmile.com.

11. Things you must not do

Don’t:

12. Our software

Boxmile and its licensors own the software, design and brand. While these Terms apply, you may use Boxmile for your own business. You don’t get rights to our source code, trademarks or resale, or to use our brand in a way that suggests we endorse you.

13. Changes, suspension and closing your account

We keep improving Boxmile, and features may change. If a change removes something you rely on, we will tell you ahead of time where we can, and give you a chance to export your records.

We may limit or suspend an account if we need to stop fraud, misuse, a serious breach of these Terms, a security risk or a legal problem. Where we can, we will tell you why and let you fix it first.

You can close your account by emailing info@boxmile.com. Closing doesn’t cancel labels already bought or amounts you owe. We keep some records after closing where the law requires it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. No warranty

Boxmile is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we and our licensors give no warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don’t promise that Boxmile will always work, work without errors, or meet every need.

15. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, Boxmile and its licensors are not liable for any damages from your use of, or inability to use, the software, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential and punitive damages, lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, and business interruption. This applies whatever the legal basis of the claim, even if we were told the damage was possible.

This doesn’t cancel what we owe you for approved refunds or balance that must be returned to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

16. Your promise to cover certain claims (indemnity)

If someone else makes a claim against Boxmile because of your illegal or prohibited shipments, data you didn’t have the right to use, your fraud, or your serious breach of these Terms or the law (including by people using your logins), you will defend Boxmile and pay the resulting costs, damages, settlements and reasonable legal fees.

This doesn’t apply to the extent the claim was caused by Boxmile’s own breach, negligence, fraud or misconduct. We will tell you about such a claim promptly. You may run the defense with a qualified lawyer. You need our written OK for any settlement that makes Boxmile admit fault, do something, or pay money you don’t cover.

17. Events outside our control

We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events we can’t reasonably control, such as wide power or internet outages, natural disasters, war or government action. We will work to limit the effect. This doesn’t cancel refunds or money already owed.

18. Disputes and arbitration

Talk to us first. Before starting arbitration, send a written notice of the dispute to info@boxmile.com and to our address in section 1, with your account details and what you want. We send ours to your account email. We both then have 60 days to try to settle it, including a call if either of us asks. Legal deadlines pause during those 60 days as far as the law allows.

Arbitration. If it isn’t settled, either of us may start binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, or its Consumer Arbitration Rules where those apply. One neutral arbitrator decides. Neither side chooses the arbitrator alone. Hearings can be held by video or on documents. If an in-person hearing is needed for a business dispute, it is held in Sheridan, Wyoming. The arbitrator gives a written decision with reasons, and either of us may ask a court to enforce it.

Individual claims only. As far as the law allows, each of us brings claims only for ourselves, not as part of a class or group action, and we both give up a court or jury trial for claims that go to arbitration.

Fees. Arbitration fees follow the AAA rules and the law. We pay the share they require us to pay. Each side pays its own lawyer unless the law or the arbitrator says otherwise.

What can still go to court. Either of us may use small claims court for an eligible individual claim, or ask a court for urgent relief to protect intellectual property or stop harm while arbitration runs. Anyone may report a concern to a government agency. Claims the law doesn’t allow to be forced into arbitration are not covered.

A court decides whether this arbitration agreement exists and whether the class-action limit can be enforced. If part of this section can’t be enforced, the rest still applies, and any claim that can’t be arbitrated goes to court, not to class arbitration. Changes to this section don’t apply to a dispute that already started.

Law that applies. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. Everything else is governed by the laws of Wyoming, except where the law of your state requires otherwise. Court cases that aren’t arbitrated go to the state or federal courts for Sheridan County, Wyoming.

19. Updates to these Terms

We show the date of each version. We tell you about important changes by email or in the app before they apply. Where your new acceptance is needed, we ask for it first. Updates don’t change labels already bought or rights you already have.

20. Other terms

If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term once, we can still enforce it later. Sections that by their nature should continue after your account closes continue, including payments owed, the no-warranty and liability sections, indemnity and disputes.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any terms shown for a specific feature (such as the referral program) are the whole agreement. A support conversation doesn’t add promises. A separate agreement signed by Boxmile overrides these Terms only where it says so.

We offer these Terms in English and Chinese. If the two differ, the English version applies.
